Homeowners on the Pechanga Reservation live in one of the prettiest corners of the Temecula Valley — rolling hills, open skies, and backyards made for gathering family. The valley summer doesn't spare anyone, though, and an uncovered patio is out of service for the hottest part of every day. A custom aluminum cover gives that space back, built for the lot and the home it sits on.
JAM Construction Patios serves the Pechanga Reservation with the same deal we offer everywhere: the owners do the work. Samer Numan and Justin McDaniel are licensed California contractors who build every cover in-house — no subcontractors, no sales team — and we're already in the Temecula Valley every week.
Cover types and pricing (per square foot):
• Flat pan (non-insulated): $27/sq. ft. — full shade and rain protection
• Lattice: $29/sq. ft. — filtered light with a classic pergola look
• Insulated (IRP): $35/sq. ft. — foam-core comfort, quiet in the rain
Projects start at a $3,000 minimum. Electrical options: recessed lights $100 each, ceiling fan installation $200 (you supply the fan), GFCI outlets $150, post lights $150, and switches/dimmers $100. Freestanding covers with steel posts and footings run $500 per post.
Do covers on the Reservation need permits?
Projects on the Reservation follow tribal requirements rather than city or county permits. At your free estimate we'll confirm exactly what your project needs and handle our side of the process with you — no guessing.
Can you build a freestanding cover?
Yes. Reservation lots often have the room for a freestanding cover over a gathering space, pool deck, or outdoor kitchen, and custom layouts are our specialty.
