Who Insulated Is For
Choose insulated if your patio faces west or south and takes brutal afternoon sun, if you'll have furniture, a TV, or an outdoor kitchen underneath, or if you simply plan to live out there. If the patio is mostly a shady spot for the grill, our flat pan cover saves you money and does that job well — we'll price both at your estimate.
Pricing
Insulated (IRP) covers are $35 per square foot, with a $3,000 project minimum.

Most insulated builds include lights and a fan — electrical is cheaper and cleaner during the build than added later, and it's all covered under our warranty.
Permits
Many cities require a permit for a patio cover. If yours does, we offer a full permit service for $600 plus city fees — we handle the paperwork, drawings, and inspections.

Is an insulated cover worth the extra cost over flat pan?
